Mirror Panel signs you in with your work email and password, or with your Google account. Connect both from User Settings and either way opens the same workspace; your session is restored automatically the next time you open the app.
Signing in hands your browser off to Google and back again, and the return trip carries a one-time ticket that only the tab and the web address you started from can read. If that ticket cannot be found, Mirror Panel stops rather than guessing, and shows this screen.
The message names the two things that cause it, and the link takes you straight back to a fresh sign-in.
There are two common reasons. You started signing in in one tab and finished in another, or you began at a different web address than the one you came back to. Choosing Return to sign in starts a clean attempt and clears both.
Return to sign in lands here, where you can retry with either method.
Your email and password and your Google account can both open the same workspace. Which methods are connected is shown under User Settings › Sign-in methods, and that is where you connect the other one.

If you created your account with an email and password, choose Connect Google: confirm your password, then sign in with the Google account for the same email. From then on Continue with Google brings you to this workspace too.
Confirm your password, then continue to Google. Choose the Google account that matches your Mirror Panel email.
If you created your account with Google, choose Add password instead. Pick a password of at least 12 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number; if you signed in a while ago you will be asked to sign in with Google once more first. Once it is set you are signed out and can sign back in with either method.
If you press Continue with Google and your email already has a password account, Mirror Panel does not create a second, empty workspace. It shows this screen instead: sign in with your password, and Sign-in methods opens for you with the Connect Google step ready.

The other way round, creating an email and password account for an email that already signs in with Google is refused on the sign-up form; sign in with Google and add the password from Sign-in methods. If you already ended up with two accounts before this existed, Sign-in methods says so, and support can merge them for you.
Reloading the page the sign-in returns to, or stepping back into it, no longer reports a failure. If your session is already live, Mirror Panel simply carries you on to where you were going.
Start and finish a sign-in in the same tab. If you keep a bookmark, bookmark the address you normally work from and sign in there.
A session lasts twelve hours at a time and renews itself in the background for thirty days, so you sign in about once a month rather than every morning. Closing a laptop for the night, coming back to a tab a day later, or being added to a new brand while you are signed in does not interrupt you: the next thing you do quietly renews the session first, and a request the API turns away is renewed and repeated, keeping the brand you had selected.
If the renewal itself is refused — the thirty days are up, or you signed out everywhere else — the page says so instead of failing silently.
